Questions
- What is Lawmaxxer?
- Lawmaxxer is a free flashcard site for law students. Cards are organised by country, year of study, subject and book (deck), covering leading cases, statutory sections and core rules.
- Which countries and law degrees are covered?
- United States, United Kingdom (England & Wales), European Union, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Commonwealth Caribbean. Each jurisdiction follows a typical year-by-year law curriculum for that country.
- Where do the answers come from?
- Every card shows its source — the case citation, statute section or treaty article — so you can check the primary source. Lawmaxxer is a revision aid, not legal advice; always check your own syllabus.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Your chosen country, saved cards and progress are stored only in your browser, and you can change country at any time.
- How do I revise with it?
- Open a book and flip through the cards (Space flips, arrow keys move, S saves a card). Save hard cards to revisit later, or use the timed exam mode to test yourself on random questions.
